The poster for paranormal activity shows a man and woman on
the bed, this might be a scene from the film. The female is pointing toward the
door where there is a shadow. In the poster it looks like night time and it’s done
in a home video style layout as the poster shows a man and woman in a bedroom I’m
guessing the story is set inside their home. Due to the title and the shadow on
the door I’m guessing that there home is being haunted but a ghost or demon.
The film title is against a black background and uses a red
colour to stand out which connotes death and blood which fits in to the genre
of the film. The film caption what happens when u sleep fits in very well with
the picture on the poster this shows that the poster is defiantly from night
time and is being film while the characters are sleeping.
The poster is very simple and is probably more reliant on
the trailer rather than the poster to bring audiences in as it is hard to
portray ghost/demons in a poster.
