Possible Locations

For our main setting this would be a good choice, the story is about a young man living alone after being kicked out at a young age. This flat is verry un organised and messy as a whole and fits the stereotype of our main character, a troubled young man, we also thought the state of the flat could reflect his state of mind and personal life. Its also ideal for filming because its of easy acsess and isnt too busy most of the time.

These two images are of a remote quiet woodland scene these would be good possible locations for showing scenes with our main character walking alone in the dark or for a scene with our two other characters being followed. This area would be good because its verry quiet and not alot of people would all go here at once so the risk of having other people around whilst filming would be small how ever we could have problems with unwanted outside noise but this can always be overcome with editing, another problem could be produced by the weather and lighting something that cant be controlled the way it can with filming indoors.

These three locations were taken in the area around the flat we are planning to film in. These places would be ideal for shots of our female character and our second male character out together or for shots of our main character and the female character at the start of there relationship allthough again because its outside we may have problems with lighting noise and weather also parts of this estate i believe are private there for we could have problems with the resedents asking why were filming in this area but the probability of this is small.

This location is a small alley running from town to the area of flats we will be filiming in. This would be ideal for us to use for one of our night scenes as its verry dark and quiet at night and sets a good setting for our main character as hes walking about at night, this shot could also be good if we were to have a chase scene in our trailer with our killer and the defensless female.

This is the final location weve looked at again in the same area as the flat were filiming in, located by the river mole in Leatherhead. This place would be ideal to use in the beggining of our film as we show the start of our main character and his girlfriends relationship because to look at it appears to be quite peacefull and a nice place for people to sit and relax. however this is the problem of outside noise created by the river and the near by road but this can be sorted during editing.

Diary of Filming

Today we when to look for locations for our trailer we looked around leatherhead and Ashtead for secluded areas.

We found very good places around my friends flat, where most of the filming will take place. This is good because we don’t have to waste time moving to different areas and we don’t have to organise travel.
